Jeffrey Regier
I’m an Assistant Professor in the Statistics Department at the University of Michigan, as well as affiliate of the Center for Computational Medicine and Bioinformatics and an affiliate of the Michigan Institute for Data Science.
My research group studies Bayesian methods and applies them to problems in astronomy and genomics. Variational inference, sequential Monte Carlo, and diffusion models are some of the statistical tools we use.
